Fast food restaurants such as McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy’s are in close proximity as are some great sit-down dining such as TGI Fridays, Texas Roadhouse, Johnny Carino’s and Chuck-a-Rama – not to mention a half dozen pizza joints. There are a few movie theaters nearby – also a variety of churches, a few medical complexes and a hospital.

The highway exit is just a couple of miles up the road, and an RV repair facility is also close by. While enjoying your stay at Autumn Cove, you will be in close proximity to several well-known recreational areas, such as Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and great fishing at the Ririe and Palisades reservoirs. Idaho Falls itself is filled with memorable scenic areas including the Greenbelt along the Snake river featuring the beautiful Idaho Falls.

If a night of amusement is called for, Autumn Cove is just a couple hours run up to West Yellowstone and an evening of top-notch entertainment at the Playmill Theater. This highly-popular family-owned production house is featuring three different musical this summer; “Les Miserables,” “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and on a lighter note, “Beauty and the Beast.” Refreshments are available at intermission - Be sure to save some cash for a piece of their to-die-for house-made fudge! If a variety show is more to your taste, head over to the Mountain River Ranch near Heise for a night of live county western fiddle music, song, and comedy that will leave you rolling in the aisles. This is a dinner theater, featuring a buffet of traditional western fare such as BBQ ribs and chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and their famous corn bread.
