WALK, RUN, OR CHEER FOR THE CURE!
Walkers and runners won’t want to miss the 11th Annual Eastern Idaho Run for the Cure on Saturday, October 7th! This run is Idaho’s largest of its type and a part of the Eastern Idaho Falls Pink Ribbon Campaign. The goal of the race is to raise awareness of breast cancer research and to raise funds to help find a cure.
If you’re not up for participating, you can still come out and cheer on your neighbors and enjoy a fun event for a great cause. There will be music, entertainment, refreshments, and a raffle that you won’t want to miss! There will even be Crossfit AMROCK optional obstacle courses and a kickoff for the Barbells for Boobs fundraiser, which you can learn more about here.
The event takes place at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls. Same day registration is available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. if you’d like to walk or run. You can register for the 5k walk or run or for the 1-mile walk. You can learn more about the event and registration at its website. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event go to Eastern Idaho Public Health for the fight against breast cancer.
