ENJOY ARTWORK BY TALENTED LOCAL KIDS

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho is a local treasure that hosts rotating exhibitions throughout the year that shouldn’t be missed. The museum’s primary focuses are showcasing art by Idaho artists as much as possible and providing art educational opportunities.

The museum will re-open March 3^rd for the Young at ART exhibit which will run through March 24^th. This exhibit celebrates one of the museum’s education programs called ARTworks. This program has been implemented in schools across eastern Idaho to improve art education in schools. The annual exhibit showcases hundreds of works of art from school children. It will also feature finalists from the 2018 Congressional Art Competition. These finalists represent excellence in high school art. The winning piece will be hung in Washington D.C.

On opening day of the exhibit, March 3^rd, make sure to bring the entire family out between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Admission will be free for this Family Day Celebration! You’ll be able to view the Young at ART exhibit plus participate in a collaborative sculpture that will be displayed in the main foyer.
